Speakeasy is a new prohibition-era themed lounge just below the Bier Markt with classic cocktails and haute-rustic decor. The construction was done according to green building standards, including reclaimed barn wood from a local barn built in the early 1800’s. Formerly the sales department for the Fries and Schuele department store founded in 1868, part of the design is the original hand-cut sandstone foundation walls.  Speakeasy is open Friday and Saturday from 8pm until 2am, and is available for Private Parties and Special Events 365 days a year for groups of 15 to 150.
